Reclaimed 17th Century Oak Table; £1850 (ex. VAT) SN1540


This unique 6 to 8 seater Table has been crafted using Reclaimed Oak, salvaged from a private house in Confolens, from the first quarter of the 17th Century

A master craftsman was commisioned to make the table using traditional furniture making methods

All of the table frame joints have been handcrafted, using ‘draw bore’ mortice and tendon joints

The characteristic timber ‘dowels’ usd in this method of furniture making can be clearly seen, at each table leg junction

The table has been finished and waxed by hand

The Oak Table top is seperate to the base, which includes fixing slots, for ease of transportation

Measurements: 73″ long; 33″ wide; 32″ high; 1″ thick Oak
